We are excited to announce that we will continue the recent tradition of having a November Movie Event at the Grandview Theater & Drafthouse. I don’t know about you, but this is one of my favorite events of the season. They say Christmas season is getting longer and longer (Home Depot has had Christmas stuff on display for weeks now), so we're leaning into that trend to show maybe my favorite ever Christmas movie, Elf.

Please plan to arrive around 12. The movie will start around 1pm.

An extensive cash bar with great draft offerings is also available as well as the usual fare of princess friendly drinks, pizza for lunch and popcorn for the movie. There's also TVs at the bar for the early NFL games.

WINTER CAMPOUT

Camp Willson/Bellefontaine & TP Lanes

January 31st – February 2, 2026

We'll again be staying TWO nights at YMCA Camp Willson (near Bellefontaine.) You can check in Friday night and enjoy an evening around the fire or meet us at TP Lanes on Saturday.

Please do NOT sign up for both events. If you aren't camping but wish to bowl with the longhouse, then sign up for the bowling event. If you're going camping then your bowling fee is included with camping registration. If you don't think you can roll yourself out of the bunkbed by 1230 on Saturday, then you need to re-evaluate your life choices. Just remember that there's no judgment from the dads, but there is from the princesses!

Directions to TP Lanes

From Upper Arlington, TP Lanes is only about a one hour drive, just pick up Route 33 west at I-270 in Dublin and head straight out to the first exit past Mad River Mountain. Take a left off the exit and then follow County Rd 10 towards Bellefontaine. There's a few more turns after that, just tap this address on your phone and you'll get there: TP Lanes directions

YMCA Camp Willson

Check-in starts on Friday afternoon. Camp Willson is located at 2732 County Road 11, Bellefontaine, OH 43311 . YMCA Camp Wilson is on West Lake Ave and TP Lanes is on East Lake Ave. I'd like to think you can get from the campground to the bowling alley on your own, if not here's your linky: Camp Willson to TP Lanes. Cabins at Camp Wilson are typical IP camp cabins: they all have heat, electricity, restrooms, and bunk beds.

The campout cost covers the cabin for two nights, activities including crafts, a Saturday night comedian/magician show, breakfast Saturday and Sunday at the camp, tshirts for you and your daughters, and all the firewood you can burn. There is also a toboggan hill, so bring sleds if there is snow.

We traditionally have 24 hour access to a conference center building where the girls can warm up between outdoor activities, watch videos, and drink hot chocolate.

Sunday Activities

On the way home, you can head to Mad River Mountain for snow tubing or skiing (on your dime), they open at 10am.

Registration

The Indian Princesses has a long history of bringing fathers and daughters together for life enriching experiences. This history dates back to 1926, and the Olentangy Longhouse dates back to 1960. We are the oldest and largest group in Upper Arlington.
