2026 Summer Campout: NTR Canoe Livery

August 7-9th, 2026

In Bolivar, OH on the mighty Tuscarawas River lies the site of our summer campout, the NTR Canoe Livery! Be advised, this is a primitive camping site, which means that there is no electricity provided, nor is there any running water available, other than from the river of course. We will have clean porta potties provided for us for the weekend. The highlight of the weekend is the canoe trip on Saturday afternoon, I assure you this run of river is a top notch canoe ride. The water should be cool and refreshing, and you'll be able to float for a good bit of the river if you choose to do so. Be advised, the livery is right next to I-77, you may need to get used to the Jake brakes getting pulled on occasion at night. Come meet your fellow tribe members and Chiefs. Get information regarding our Fall Camp-out at Camp Kern. Even if you are not yet registered, you can attend this event to learn more about the Indian Princess program.

We've rented the Northwest Swim Club for the evening, and as usual pizza and soft drinks will be provided. To get there go north on Kenny until it dead ends into Bethel and turn left, from there it will be the very first right turn. Please invite anyone to come that you think would be a good fit for the program, this is a free event and open to all.

The Indian Princesses has a long history of bringing fathers and daughters together for life enriching experiences. This history dates back to 1926, and the Olentangy Longhouse dates back to 1960. We are the oldest and largest group in Upper Arlington.
